#1. District Binh Thanh, Vietnamese Beef Steak Bo Ne 3 Ngon Review
Vietnamese beef steak restaurant Bo Ne 3 Ngon is located on the street in front of City Garden Apartment in District Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City. Bo Ne 3 Ngon serves Bo Ne and Bo Bit Tet, which you choose your favorite ingredients such as beef, fried egg, pate, sausage, and saury, place them on a grill plate and eat them with baguette bread.
There is seating inside the restaurant, but it is not large, and they set simple tables on the wide street in front of the restaurant and surrounding buildings. Even on weekdays, many locals come here for dinner, so most of the tables are always filled.
My friend and I visited on a Friday evening and sat down at an outdoor table. There was a menu on the table along with a cutlery container, ketchup, chili sauce, soy sauce, etc.
When you order food, Banh Mi(baguette) and salad are provided according to the number of dishes ordered. These are meant to be eaten with Bo Ne or Bo Bit Tet. Bo Ne is similar to Korean bulgogi, and Bo Bit Tet uses the same seasoning as Bo Ne, but instead of cutting the meat, it is placed in chunks on a grill plate, making it similar to steak.
The cola that was included in the food I ordered was served along with the salad. They pour cola from a plastic bottle, but there is almost no carbonation, so it almost feels like sugar water. Meat, salad, bread, and even cola, everything included a meal for a reasonable price, so I don't want to be picky, but the cola is disappointing.
The BIT TET TRUYEN THONG(Normal) that my friend ordered came out first. Beef, fried egg, and pate are placed on a hot grill plate. This is the most basic menu and the most popular. The beef has a sweet and salty seasoning, so it's really delicious when eaten with salad and baguette.
Next, the BIT TET HOANG GIA(special) I ordered came out. The portion is even more generous with beef, two fried eggs, pate, Vietnamese ham, oysters, and saury. Just tear the baguette into small pieces and eat it with salad and various other ingredients.
For those who don't like fishy food, it is better to eat BIT TET TRUYEN THONG(Normal) rather than BIT TET HOANG GIA(Special). Since it is an inexpensive food, so the saury and oysters used have a strong fishy taste. I recommend the BIT TET TRUYEN THONG(Normal), which anyone can enjoy. You can add Vietnamese ham or other ingredients separately.
I additionally ordered KHOAI TAY CHIEN(Fries) to show to a friend who was visiting Ho Chi Minh. They were regular frozen french fries, but it is ate them dipped in sugar and butter, so I thought it would be fun so I ordered it.
#2. Vietnamese Beef Steak Bo Ne 3 Ngon Menu
Local restaurant Bo Ne 3 Ngon serves Bo Ne and Bo Bit Tet, which you choose your favorite ingredients such as beef, fried egg, pate, sausage, and saury, place them on a grill plate and eat them with baguette bread. The price is not cheap compared to other local restaurants, but the portions are generous, so even foreigners like us can order one and eat to our fill.
Me and two friends visited on a Friday evening and ordered the food below.
BIT TET TRUYEN THONG(Normal): 68,000VND
BIT TET HOANG GIA(Special): 82,000VND x 2 EA = 164,000VND
KHOAI TAY CHIEN(Fries): 25,000VND
A total of 257,000VND was enough to feed three adult men. Personally, I recommend adding something like Vietnamese ham or fried egg to BIT TET TRUYEN THONG(Normal) rather than BIT TET HOANG GIA(Special). Bo Ne 3 Ngon is a restaurant where you can taste famous Vietnamese dishes such as Bo Ne and Bo Bit Tet at an affordable price, so It is a restaurant worth visiting if you happen to stop by nearby.
