#1. District Binh Thanh, Italian Pizza Restaurant Oliver's Pizza Review
The Italian pizza restaurant Oliver's Pizza is located on Pham Viet Chanh Street in District Binh Thanh, called Little Tokyo in Ho Chi Minh City. Although the menu is not extensive, including a few types of Italian Roman-style pizza, sandwiches, salads, and drinks, the quality of the pizza is quite high, making it a very attractive restaurant.
It is a small store, and rather than being visited in person for a meal, people often order for delivery, especially nearby bar. So no matter when you go, there are always seats, but if you visit late in the evening, they may run out of pizza.
Oliver's Pizza offers several types of Italian Roman style pizza, including Margherita, Funghi, Spicy Salami, Regina, and Coppa. I visited to dine alone around 8pm on a Tuesday, and several types of pizza were already sold out.
There is a combo menu that includes three slices of pizza and a soft drink, which is 15,000VND cheaper than just ordering. I chose three of pizzas: Spicy Salami, Margherita, and Coppa, and as my soft drink, I chose Schweppes Ginger Ale.
Spicy Salami is my favorite pizza from Oliver's Pizza. This pizza is made by spreading tomato sauce on the dough and topping it with spicy salami, mozzarella cheese, and parsley and baking it in the oven. The crispy dough, spicy and salty salami, soft and savory mozzarella cheese, and refreshing tomato sauce are in perfect harmony.
Margherita is the most basic Italian pizza with tomato sauce spread on the dough and topped with mozzarella cheese, dried tomatoes, and basil. The soft and savory taste of mozzarella, the concentrated umami of dried tomatoes, and the subtle scent of basil are simple yet have a definite impact. Coppa uses dry-aged ham(Coppa), mozzarella cheese, dried tomatoes, and basil as toppings, so this can be seen as a pizza that adds rich flavor ham to margherita.
Oliver's Pizza is one of the few Western restaurants on Pham Viet Chanh Street, District Binh Thanh, and the only restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City that sells special Italian-Roman style pizza, making it a special restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the pizza tastes good, so there is no reason not to visit.

Oliver's Pizza does not have a menu booklet, but you can order by looking at the pizza display stand and the menu posted above. Although the menu is not extensive, including a few types of Italian Roman-style pizza, sandwiches, salads, and drinks, the quality of the pizza is quite high, making it a very attractive restaurant.
I visited alone for dinner on a Tuesday evening and ordered the following.
Coppa: 65,000VND
Spicy Salami: 65,000VND
Margherita: 65,000VND
Soft Drink: 30,000VND
Combo Discount: -15,000VND
With 210,000VND plus 8% VAT, it came out to a decent amount of 226,800VND. Oliver's Pizza is the only place in Ho Chi Minh City that sells rectangular-shaped Italian Roman style pizza. It is a restaurant worth visiting for pizza lovers as it offers high-quality pizza at a reasonable price.
