#1. District Binh Thanh, Pham Viet Chanh Street Oliuu Creative Bistro Review
Oliuu Creative Bistro is located in the middle of Pham Viet Chanh Street in District Binh Thanh, which is called Little Tokyo or the second Japanese street in Ho Chi Minh City. Fiftysix, which used to serve a variety of Western dishes, has recently been renovated into a casual bistro where you can taste attractive Central Asian cuisine. It is an attractive restaurant where you can taste Central Asian dishes that are familiar to us, such as hummus and kofta, at reasonable prices.

In the past, the interior tried to create a dark and slightly luxurious atmosphere, but now it has a casual and bright atmosphere, perhaps to increase accessibility to young customers. The pastel pink walls reminded me of the squid game.

While waiting for my food, I ordered a glass of homemade sangria. It was a strong cinnamon flavor but not too strong a citrus flavor. It was low in alcohol and had a moderate fruity sweetness, making it easy to drink.

Bruschetta was served as an appetizer. On the left was a toasted baguette topped with truffle sauce, pickled onions, and green onions, while on the right was topped tomato sauce, sunflower seeds, and arugula. It was a compact size that was easy to eat in one bite, and was a good accompaniment to sangria.

For my second drink, I ordered a glass of white wine. It was an inexpensive French Sauvignon Blanc wine, and the light acidity, subtle fruity sweetness and refreshing grassy aroma whetted my appetite.

The first dish I ordered was Sun-dried Tomato Hummus. Hummus is a side dish that is a staple in meals in the Middle East and Central Asia. It has a nutty flavor and light taste made with chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and minced garlic.

Sun-dried Tomato Hummus was quite appealing, with its soft texture and fresh, savory flavor, made with sun-dried tomatoes, pomegranate, peanuts, and sesame seeds.

When I ordered hummus, it came with a pita bread. The inside of that was empty, so I could put hummus in it or tear it up and dip it in and eat it.

The light-tasting pita bread and the soft, nutty, and fresh-tasting hummus went together better than I expected. The hummus, with its variety of ingredients, was more complete than I expected, and I was very satisfied.

The second dish I ordered was Kefta. It is also a Middle Eastern or Central Asian dish, made with a mixture of beef and lamb, similar to a meatball or hamburger steak.

This was eaten by dipping it in the white sauce that came with it, and it was barely sweet, had a soft texture, and had a light taste. The amount of kofta was more than it looked, so it wasn't bad as a meal, but it would probably be boring to eat this alone without any other side.

For the last third dish, I ordered the Tarte Citron Meringuee. It was a simple dessert of lemon curd, Italian meringue, and dried lime slice on top of a tart shell. It was soft, not too sweet, and just right, making it a great ending to the meal.

#2. Oliuu Creative Bistro Menu
Oliuu Creative Bistro is a restaurant that serves Central Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The number of dishes served is not large, but each dish has its own unique charm. The price range of the menu is reasonable considering the overall quality of the food, and the drinks are not cheap, but I felt they were not bad.

I visited alone for dinner on a Friday evening and ordered as follows:
Sun-dried Tomato Hummus: 140,000VND
Kefta: 220,000VND
Tarte Citron Meringuee: 140,000VND
Homemade Sangria: 140,000VND
Gerard Bertrand Naturalys Sauvignon Blanc: 150,000VND
Le Triporteur Rouge IGP Vaucluse: 130,000VND
I was so satisfied that I could enjoy three glasses of wine, an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert for a total of 920,000VND. Oliuu Creative Bistro is an attractive restaurant where you can taste Central Asian food that we are familiar with, such as hummus and kofta, at a reasonable price.
