#1. District Binh Thanh, Local Restaurant GA NUONG ANH TUYET Review
Local restaurant GA NUONG ANH TUYET is located near the main entrance of City Garden Apartment in District Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City. As a local restaurant, the hygiene is a bit poor, but even though it is located in the center of Ho Chi Minh city, you can taste various grilled dishes such as chicken, quail, frog, etc. with beer at an affordable price. So, this is an attractive restaurant for people living nearby.
Outside the restaurant, there is a large grill used to grill whole quails and chickens on skewers, as well as smaller grill for grilling smaller items such as various parts of the chicken. There are a lot of motorcycles and cars passing by, and there are barbecue grills lined up without any partitions to block the exhaust fumes, which raises concerns about hygiene, but it looks very delicious anyway.
I visited alone for dinner on a Friday evening and took a seat at a table in the far corner. The chairs are not very high, but they are higher than the bathhouse chairs commonly used in other local restaurants, so there was no discomfort while eating.
Once you sit down and place your order, you will be served a plate of pickled papaya, cucumber, and Vietnamese cilantro(Rau Ram) as side dishes. These are great for reducing greasiness when eaten with fatty grilled meat.
They sell beers commonly found in local restaurants, such as 333, Saigon, Tiger, and Heineken. Personally, I like the Saigon Special, but unfortunately it wasn't available so I ordered Saigon Lager. It is an attractive beer with a moderately bitter taste, savory taste, and strong refreshing feeling.
I ordered 2 grilled chicken wings, 2 grilled chicken thighs, and 1 chicken leg to have a meal. Although I only ordered a few pieces, the portion was larger than expected, and it was grilled over charcoal with sweet and salty seasoning, giving off an appetizing dark red color and a delicious smell.
Because Dui Ga Nuong(Grilled Chicken Thighs) are sold in pairs, I had to order two. The thigh had a lot of meat and it was cut in half and grilled over charcoal so easy to remove bone. Of all the grilled foods I ordered that day, I liked it the most.
Canh Ga Nuong(Grilled Chicken Wings) consists of wings and drumettes and, like the thighs, I had to order two of them. It was attractive to be able to taste both meaty drumettes and chewy wings.
I could only order one Chan Ga (Grilled Chicken Legs), but when I ordered one, I got two chicken legs. The chicken legs had an attractive chewy and crunchy texture and were well seasoned, so it was delicious, but it was difficult to eat because it was not easy to remove the bone.
GA NUONG ANH TUYET is a charming local restaurant where you can enjoy delicious grilled chicken and beer at an affordable price, making it a great place to visit for a casual meal or drink. Of course, since it is a local restaurant, the hygiene is not good, so those who are new to Vietnam or have only recently arrived may have an upset stomach, so it is recommended that only those who are familiar with Vietnam visit.

GA NUONG ANH TUYET is a local grilled chicken restaurant that mainly serves grilled chicken parts, and also sells a variety of grilled dishes such as quail, frogs, shrimp, and clams, as well as Vietnamese snacks. Even though it is located in the city center of Ho Chi Minh City, both food and drinks are quite cheap. When you receive the bill after eating to your heart's content, you will be surprised to see that the price is lower than you expected.

Canh Ga Nuong(Chicken Wings): 30,000VND x 2 EA = 60,000VND
Dui Ga Nuong(Chicken Thighs): 32,000VND x 2 EA = 64,000VND
Chan Ga(Chicken Legs): 28,000VND
Saigon Lager: 20,000VND x 2 EA = 40,000VND
Wet Wipe: 4,000VND
For a total of 196,000 VND, I was able to enjoy grilled chicken and beer to fill my stomach. Although GA NUONG ANH TUYET is a local restaurant, hygiene is a bit poor, but even though it is located in the center of Ho Chi Minh city, it is an attractive place for people living nearby because you can taste various grilled dishes such as chicken, quail, frog, etc. with beer at an affordable price.
