#1. District Binh Thanh, Japanese Restaurant IZAKAYA KOBE YAKISOBA Review
Japanese restaurant IZAKAYA KOBE YAKISOBA is located on Pham Viet Chanh Street in District Binh Thanh, which is called the second Japanese street or Little Tokyo in Ho Chi Minh City. This is an attractive izakaya where you can enjoy a generous portion of yakisoba and various snacks at a reasonable price, as it is one of the few yakisoba restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City. It is especially popular with Japanese people living in Ho Chi Minh, so it is hard to find an empty seat on weekend evenings.

I visited alone for dinner on a Friday evening and took a seat in the corner. It was a small, clean restaurant with a bar table and a few tables, and since it was a weekend evening, most of the seats were occupied by Japanese customers.

Since it is a Japanese restaurant, I started my meal with Sapporo draft beer. At 50,000VND per glass, it is quite cheap compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area.

For my first dish, I ordered Ebi Wasabi. It came in a small plate with raw shrimp marinated in wasabi sauce. It tasted similar to Taco Wasabi, but the chewy texture and savory taste of the shrimp made it a great accompaniment to alcohol.

I thought that Ebi Wasabi would go better with sake than beer, so I ordered a glass of cheap sake, Kacho Fugetsu. It didn't have a distinct character, but the smooth taste and subtle floral and fruity aromas weren't bad.

For my second dish, I ordered Omu Soba. It was a simple dish of yakisoba with pork, cabbage, etc. topped with omelet. It was ordinary and not particularly special in taste, but the portion was quite generous for the cheap price.

The salty and sweet taste of the yakisoba made me want Asahi beer. I immediately ordered a bottle. The refreshing taste with a bitter aftertaste and a clean finish went well with the yakisoba.

After eating only the strong taste Ebi Wasabi and Yakisoba, I wanted something light, so I ordered Hiyayakko(Cold Tofu). There was Katsuobushi and green onions on top of the soft tofu, and although it was a bit bland when I sprinkled the right amount of soy sauce on it, it was actually good because of that.

#2. IZAKAYA KOBE YAKISOBA Menu
IZAKAYA KOBE YAKISOBA's menu is quite inexpensive compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area. Yakisoba is the main menu, but they also serve udon, omelet rice, rice bowls, and other meals, as well as a variety of Japanese snacks. The prices of alcoholic beverages are also reasonable, making it an attractive place to visit not only for a meal but also for a drink.

I visited alone for dinner on a Friday evening and ordered as follows:
Omu Soba: 150,000VND
Ebi Wasabi: 70,000VND
Hiyayakko: 50,000VND
Sapporo Draft Beer: 50,000VND x 2 EA = 100,000VND
Asahi Beer: 60,000VND
Kacho Fugetsu Sake(Glass): 120,000VND
I was able to enjoy a satisfying meal for a low price of 550,000VND. IZAKAYA KOBE YAKISOBA has a cheap menu, but you can taste more than that, and alcoholic beverages prices are reasonable, so it is definitely worth visiting. That is probably why many Japanese men visit this place on weekend evenings.
