#1. District Binh Thanh, Handmade Burger Restaurant CHUCK'S BURGERS Review
CHUCK'S BURGERS is a quite long-standing handmade burger restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, located on Pham Viet Chanh Street in Binh Thanh District, also called Little Tokyo. In this area mostly Japanese restaurants, this is one of the few Western restaurants along with Tacos Fuego and Oliver's Pizza, so you can often see Westerners eating there on weekend evenings.
I visited alone for dinner on a Tuesday evening and found a seat in a corner on the first floor. Perhaps because it was a weekday, no one was seen visiting and eating, and only delivery drivers came in and out of the restaurant.
I felt like I would be disappointed if I didn't drink beer while eating a homemade burger, so I ordered Tiger Beer. A coke costs 30,000VND and a tiger beer costs 50,000VND, so the prices of drinks at CHUCK'S BURGERS are a bit higher than other restaurants around.
Not long after waiting and drinking beer, the Double Cheese Burger(with extra bacon) and Cheesy Fries that I ordered came out. The burger was about the size of a Big Mac, but the amount of ingredients inside was much larger, and there was a mountain of fries, so I couldn't help but feel full.
The Double Cheese Burger's bun was filled with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, two beef patties, two slices of cheese, and extra bacon. The patty was definitely cooked, but it was juicier than it looked, making it both greasy and soft. It make use of ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard, so felt like a slightly more luxurious version of the original cheeseburger we know so well.
CHUCK'S BURGERS is an attractive restaurant where you can taste American-style handmade burgers at a reasonable price. It is a restaurant that is especially popular among Westerners because it is affordable and delicious. If you love homemade burgers, this is definitely a place worth a visit.

CHUCK'S BURGERS serves several burgers, hot dogs, and sides. After choosing a burger from the menu, you can add various ingredients such as bacon, fried eggs, and jalapenos to your liking. If you are lazy, it is a good idea to choose a signature burger that has a concept and a combination of various ingredients.
I visited for a solo meal on a Tuesday evening and ordered the following.
Double Cheese Burger: 200,000VND
Extra Bacon: 20,000VND
Cheesy Fries: 90,000VND
Tiger Beer: 50,000VND
I was able to enjoy a delicious handmade burger for a reasonable price of 360,000VND. CHUCK'S BURGERS is a handmade burger restaurant that has been in business for quite a long time in one location. Although the facilities are old, it is a restaurant where you can taste decent burgers at a reasonable price. It is definitely worth a visit if you like handmade burgers.
