#1. District Binh Thanh, Handmade Burger MAD ROOSTA Review
MAD ROOSTA, a handmade burger restaurant, is located in a small alley near Pham Viet Chanh Street in Binh Thanh District, called Little Tokyo. This restaurant is a bit out of the way to visit in person, so there are many delivery customers.
It is a small handmade burger restaurant with a kitchen and outdoor tables on the ground floor and indoor tables on the first floor. I visited to dine alone on a Monday evening, and although the weather wasn't cool, I got a seat at an outdoor table with a fan.
While waiting for the burger I ordered, I poured Tiger Crystal beer into ice glass and drank it. Unlike local restaurants, they served cold can beer, but in hot Vietnam, drinking beer in ice glass is a good way to beat the heat.
While I was drinking beer, I was served a homemade burger and a side wedges(S). Even though I ordered a small size, the amount of wedges was huge. There wasn't much difference in taste from other fast food restaurants but it was quite delicious.
I ordered the small size of the handmade burger MAD FAT(S), but it was already quite heavy, consisting of a brioche bun, beef patty, mozzarella cheese, fried pork belly, stir-fried onions, and barbecue sauce. Also I added bacon, mozzarella, and jalapenos, an adult man seems not easy to eat it all by himself. The visual of burger was very violent and huge.
Since there is so much inside the burger bun, it is inevitable that it will spill while eating, but I was able to eat comfortably without worrying about getting food on my hands using the black latex gloves placed on the table. The juicy beef patty, salty bacon, oily fried pork belly, and savory mozzarella cheese can be too greasy and heavy, but the sweet and sour barbecue sauce and spicy and fresh jalapenos provided a good balance, making it truly delicious.
I tend to eat quite a lot, so the huge burger took a while, but I was able to finish it anyway. But I could not eat wedges all. Even for an adult male who eats a lot, a small size burger would be enough for one meal.

#2. MAD ROOSTA Menu
MAD ROOSTA is a handmade burger restaurant that mainly serves burgers using beef patties and chicken patties, as well as a variety of sides and drinks. This restaurant is especially popular with Westerners because you can design your own burger to make it more attractive by adding various toppings to the handmade burger.
I visited alone for dinner on a Monday evening and ordered the following.
MAD FAT(S): 200,000VND
Extra Mozzarella: 30,000VND
Extra Bacon: 30,000VND
Extra Jalapeno: 15,000VND
Side Wedge(S): 65,000VND
Tiger Crystal: 45,000VND
A total of 385,000VND plus 8% VAT came out to 415,800VND. It's not cheap, but I added a variety of toppings and the quality of the handmade burgers made me feel like it's not a waste of money. In addition, if you have a MAD ROOSTA membership card, you can receive a 10% discount, so you can eat a little cheaper than the VAT surcharge. So if you plan to visit here, it is recommended to get a membership card.
