Mexican restaurant La Fiesta operates stores near Ben Thanh Market in District 1 and Phu My Hung in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City. La Fiesta is a restaurant where you can taste hearty, authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price, and is a great place to visit when you're craving tacos or burritos.
After work on a Friday evening, I went alone to a restaurant located in a residential area in Phu My Hung, District 7 for a meal. The store is a duplex, and there was a couple on the upper floor, so I took a seat in the corner of the first floor.
When you order from the menu, the staff quickly brings out tortilla chips and salsa. I just enjoyed to eat salsa containing tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, and onions on top of tortilla chips while waiting for your order. The salsa here is not spicy, so if you find it boring, it is recommended to add a little bit of the chili sauce on the table.
I ordered SAN MIGUEL LIGHT as a beer to drink with Mexican food. It is a Philippine lager beer that is characterized by a mild aroma and taste with a clean finish. It goes well with spicy Mexican food.
I ordered CHIPOTLE LAMB TACOS for my meal that day. There were three lamb tacos, Fiesta Rice, Refried Black Beans, and salad on a large plate. The portion sizes are quite large, so you can get a full meal by ordering just one dish.
It's hard not to be satisfied with these hearty tacos featuring braised lamb shoulder, cabbage, cilantro, chives, lettuce, pink sauce, and chipotle mayo. It becomes even more delicious if you sprinkle an appropriate amount of chili sauce on top of the taco.

A total of 288,000VND was a very reasonable price for a generous taco and two bottles of beer. Among the Mexican restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, La Fiesta is a restaurant where you can taste hearty, authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price, and is a great place to visit when you're craving tacos or burritos.
