#1. District 7, Phu My Hung Kebab Restaurant Sindbad Kebab Review
Sindbad Kebab, a kebab restaurant, is located in Building A of Grand View Apartments in Phu My Hung, District 7, where many foreign residents live in Ho Chi Minh City. Because there can taste plentiful and delicious kebabs at an affordable price, many office workers and students visit even on weekday evenings.
I visited alone for dinner on a Monday evening and sat down at an outdoor table. Since many students come to eat with friends after school in the evening, the interior is usually noisy, so if you want to eat quietly, it is recommended to sit at an outdoor table with a nice view of the housing complex in front of the restaurant.
Sapporo, Heineken, and Tiger beers are all sold for 40,000VND. Personally, I think Sapporo beer goes best with kebabs. It takes about 15 minutes for the food to come out, so I sip my beer and waited.
I ordered Shish Kebab for my meal which is Sinbad Kebab's popular menu. That consists of 3 beef skewers, 2 slices of pita, salad, tzatziki(yogurt sauce) & harissa(chili sauce).
There are a few pieces of beef on a skewer along with tomatoes, paprika, and onions, and it's a lot more substantial than it looks. It is seasoned appropriately with salt and pepper, so it is delicious eaten as is, but it is even more delicious when dipped in tzatziki & harissa.
Savory beef that is not tough and has the right texture without any unpleasant odor with grilled vegetables such as paprika, onions, and tomatoes, dip it all in the sauce, and eat with salad and bread, you can have a balanced and planty meal.
#2. Kebab Restaurant Sindbad Kebab Menu
Sindbad Kebab is a small neighborhood restaurant that offers quite a variety of Turkiye dishes including appetizers such as hummus and bruschetta, salads, kebabs, and wraps, at affordable prices. It is a neighborhood where many foreigners live and the restaurant is run by a Korean owner, so it is easy to order food as the menu is written in English and Korean.
I visited on a Monday evening to dine alone and ordered the following.
Shish Kebab: 150,000VND
Sapporo Beer: 40,000VND
I was able to have a satisfying meal for a total of 190,000VND. Sindbad Kebab is one of the cheapest kebab restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, but it is an attractive restaurant that is second to none in terms of food quality. The portions are generous and delicious at a reasonable price, so if you live in Phu My Hung, you can't help but visit this place.
