#1. District 2, Thao Dien Italian Restaurant 365 Napoli Pizza Review
Italian restaurant 365 Napoli Pizza is located on Thao Dien Street in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, in an alley with upscale grocery store Annam Gourmet. Unlike other restaurants located in Thao Dien, District 2, the menu is generally inexpensive, the portions are generous, and most of all, it is delicious, so it is a restaurant frequented by not only foreigners but also Vietnamese locals.
I visited on a Thursday evening to dine alone, and even though it was a weekday, the place was filled with more than half of the diners. It's not a very large restaurant, but it has indoor and outdoor seating. On cool evenings, it's a good idea to grab a table outside for a better atmosphere.
I ordered Beerlao because it was my first beer. It was a lager beer from Laos. It had a deep golden color and a soft, light, refreshing taste that went well with Italian food.
For my first dish, I ordered the appetizer Beef Carpaccio. It consists of raw beef, rucola, shallot flakes, truffle, and parmesan cheese. It comes with lime juice in a small glass, and you can sprinkle it on and mix it together.
The rucola and shallot flakes gave it a salad feel, and thanks to the bouncy texture of the raw meat, it didn't feel light but added a nutty aroma and refreshing taste, making it a really good appetizer.
After Beerlao, I ordered the Italian beer Peroni. It is a lager beer that does not have a strong aroma or taste, but has a sophisticated taste that goes well with Italian food. Beerlao was good, but I think Peroni is best for Italian food.
For my second dish, I ordered the Napoli Pepperoni Pizza. This is an Italian classic pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, basil, and Parmesan cheese.
It was quite delicious, with sour tomato sauce, savory and creamy mozzarella cheese, salty pepperoni, and fragrant basil and parmesan cheese added to the chewy dough baked in an oven. You can enjoy Italian pizza even more deliciously by drizzling on spicy peperoncino oil.
#2. Italian Restaurant 365 Napoli Pizza Menu
365 Napoli Pizza serves starters such as salad, beef carpaccio, and pumpkin soup, main menus such as pasta, pizza, and steak, and desserts such as tiramisu and affogato, so it has a casual but solid menu of an Italian restaurant. Unlike other restaurants located in Thao Dien, District 2, the menu is generally inexpensive, the portions are generous, and most of all, it is delicious, so it is a restaurant frequented by not only foreigners but also Vietnamese locals.
I visited for a meal alone on a Thursday evening and ordered the following.
Beef Carpaccio: 160,000VND
Napoli Pepperoni Pizza: 260,000VND
Beer Lao: 40,000VND
Beer Peroni: 70,000VND x 2 EA = 140,000VND
For a total of 600,000 VND plus a 5% service charge, I was able to fill up on Italian food with beer for a reasonable price of 630,000VND. 365 Napoli Pizza is a great restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, a relatively expensive area in Ho Chi Minh City, that offers Italian cuisine at reasonable prices.
