BACK'S BURGER, a handmade burger restaurant, has stores in Phu My Hung, District 7, and Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. They serves classic burgers such as classic cheese burger, classic cheese double burger, and chicken burger, as well as burgers in the style of In-N-Out, a famous American fast food brand, making it a very attractive place for those who love handmade burgers.
District 7 is the main branch, and the District 2 store I visited that day has just opened, and many people are already visiting through word of mouth. I visited early on a Tuesday evening and it was quiet. It was definitely a new store, so it was clean and the interior was much better than the main store.
BACK'S BURGER sells a variety of famous beers such as Tiger, Sapporo, Blanc, Hoegaarden, Lepe, and Stella, making it a great place to enjoy a handmade burger with beer. The prices of the burgers and sides are reasonable, but the beer prices seem a bit expensive compared to other restaurants nearby, which is a bit disappointing.
Not long after the beer came out, a DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER came out with a side. This is a classic American handmade burger with two cheese and beef patties. The bun size is similar to McDonald's Big Mac, but it is almost 1.5 times the height.
The burger bun is filled from the bottom with two beef patties, two slices of cheddar cheese, pickles, caramelized onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. The beef patty is well-done, but juicy and soft. The cheddar cheese adds a nutty taste and flavor, the caramelized onions add sweetness and aroma, and the pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce cut the greasiness and add freshness, creating an overall balance. It was a very well-made and delicious burger.
I ordered GUACAMOLE CHEESE FRIES as a side. Guacamole is topped with regular French fries and sprinkled with plenty of cheese sauce, so it looks amazing. Creamy, fresh, and savory French fries go really well with beer.
BACK'S BURGER is a great place where you can taste authentic American-style handmade burgers at a reasonable price. I ordered a double cheeseburger that day, but they also sell In-N-Out style burgers, a famous American fast food restaurant, so it's definitely worth a visit if you like handmade burgers.
