#1. District 2, Pork Cutlet Restaurant CUTLET SPRING Review
CUTLET SPRING is a recently opened Japanese-style pork cutlet restaurant located near 5 star Hotel Mia Saigon in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. It is a remote place where it is not easy to visit a restaurant, but if you live nearby, it is definitely worth a visit.
It's a small restaurant with a neat interior that gives the feel of a pork cutlet restaurant. I visited alone on a Tuesday evening to have a meal, and there were only a few customers to be seen. It was located in a corner of District 2, which was a bit difficult to visit, but the restaurant rating on Google Maps was very high at 4.9 points, so I visited out of curiosity.
After I sat down and ordered, the staff provided me with iced tea and wet towels. If you can't drink cold water, you can ask the staff for lukewarm tea without ice.
I drank a glass of Sapporo draft beer while waiting for my pork cutlet. The Sapporo draft beer served in a chilled glass was refreshing and delicious as usual that day. Since the price of draft beer is cheaper than other restaurants, I thought it would be good to drink with small snacks.
After spending some time sipping beer, I was served a nice-looking Half and Half Pork Cutlet. It is generously composed of tenderloin pork cutlet, sirloin pork cutlet, cabbage salad, white kimchi, seasoned chili pepper with soybean paste, miso soup, white rice, pork cutlet sauce, and black sesame dressing(for salad).
On this particular day, I was able to try some of the curry that the owner was planning to release as a new menu item he was testing. It was a delicious Korean style curry with plenty of ingredients such as carrots, onions, and pork. I think curry rice and curry pork cutlet will be quite popular if they are released with the same quality as the ones I sampled.
CUTLET SPRING uses homemade bread crumbs to make the pork cutlet, and the fries were moderately crispy, fluffy, and well seasoned, so the pork cutlet tasted good even without the sauce. I always hurts the inside of my mouth when I eat pork cutlet, but it was good here. The sirloin was delicious, but the soft texture of the tenderloin was definitely more delicious.
The white kimchi and seasoned chili pepper with soybean paste that came with it really helped to cut down on the greasiness and make the pork cutlet more delicious. I usually went to Fujiro when I wanted pork cutlet, but now I think I'll be looking for CUTLET SPRING more.
#2. District 2, Pork Cutlet Restaurant CUTLET SPRING Menu
CUTLET SPRING is currently only serving a few menus, but the owner says he plans to slowly expand the menu one by one. A curry menu will be added soon, and it is a restaurant worth visiting as you can enjoy high-quality food at a reasonable price. Sapporo draft beer is especially cheap, so it's great to have a beer with pork cutlet.
I visited to dine alone on a Tuesday evening and ordered the following.
Half and Half Pork Cutlet: 180,000VND
Sapporo Draft Beer: 50,000VND
For a total of 230,000 VND, which is not too expensive, I was able to enjoy a truly delicious Japanese style pork cutlet. I was surprised that the quality of the pork cutlet exceeded my expectations. Personally, I think it is one of the top three pork cutlet restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City.

CUTLET SPRING, a pork cutlet restaurant, is located near the 5 star Hotel Mia Saigon in An Phu, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. It is located in such a remote area of District 2 that few customers stumble upon the restaurant and visit it. However, it is a place you cannot help but visit as it is one of the best restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City where you can taste authentic pork cutlet.
