SOUL BURGER, a handmade burger restaurant, is located across from Wok of Love, a fusion Chinese restaurant, in an alley near Masteri An Phu, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. It is a fairly old restaurant in this neighborhood, and although the interior is old, it is a place where you can taste authentic handmade burgers that are frequented by many white customers living nearby.
It's hard to say that the restaurant is clean and tidy because it feels a little greasy and damp, but there are large pictures of hamburgers on the walls and pictures of old pop singers everywhere, and old pop songs are softly played from speakers installed on the ceiling, giving it a retro feel.
If you order a burger combo, you can choose between soda or beer, and I chose a can of Tiger beer, which is no extra charge. Tiger beer isn't bad, but it was a bit disappointing that the handmade burger restaurant only sold Tiger and Heineken without craft beer.
On that day, I ordered The Diana Ross Combo for my meal. If you order the combo menu, you can choose between French fries or salad as a side and a drink. I chose French fries as a side, and they filled the stainless steel container to overflowing with French fries.
The Diana Ross Burger seemed closer to a healthy dish than fast food, with a patty(180g) made from choice beef, Emmental cheese, mushrooms sautéed in cognac sauce, horseradish vinaigrette, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes.
The juiciness of the thick beef patty, melty and savory Emmental cheese, and the aroma and texture of the mushrooms sauteed in cognac sauce gave it a luxurious and heavy feel, and the freshness of the horseradish vinaigrette, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes added to the balance, It was a good dish.

SOUL BURGER, a handmade burger restaurant, sells a variety of burgers using beef patties and several sides such as chicken wings, French fries, and salad. The price is a little higher than other handmade burger restaurants around, but it is well worth the price. However, the prices of drinks and alcohol are higher than other places, and it is a bit disappointing that there is no craft beer.

I was able to taste a high-quality handmade burger for a reasonable price of 345,000VND. SOUL BURGER's prices are a little higher than other handmade burger restaurants nearby, but you can feel its unique charm. If you love burgers, this is a handmade burger restaurant definitely worth a visit in Ho Chi Minh City.
