#1. District 1, Le Thanh Ton Teppanyaki Restaurant Miyakoya Review
Teppanyaki restaurant Miyakoya is located in an alley next to the CJ Building in Le Thanh Ton Japanese Town, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Miyakoya is a famous restaurant in Le Thanh Ton where you can enjoy a variety of teppanyaki dishes and drinks at a reasonable price.
It is a shop that has been in business for quite some time in the alley, so it has a long-established Japanese restaurant atmosphere. My friend and I made a reservation on a Saturday evening and settled down on the first floor. It is difficult to find an empty seat on weekend evenings, so it is recommended to make a reservation at least one day in advance.
Since we came to a Japanese restaurant, so immediately ordered Sapporo draft beer. At 53,000VND per drink, it's quite cheap compared to nearby other Japanese restaurants, so it's a good to drink plenty of Sapporo draft beer with delicious teppanyaki dishes.
I ordered Edamame as my first dish. I always order this when I visit a Japanese restaurant, and it's a great snack to have with beer before other food comes out.
For my second dish, I ordered the Assorted Meat Platter. It's a generous dish consisting of seasoned outside skirts, ribs, beef tongue, beef intestines. It's a good menu item to order on your first visit.
The staff personally cooked the meat by turning it over one by one. They spread bean sprouts on one end of the iron plate and place the cooked meat on top. Beef intestines had a good smell but were tough, which was disappointing, while the beef tongue, ribs, and outside skirts were soft and delicious.
In particular, the grilled outside skirt was more delicious than I expected, so I couldn't help but order more. The quantity was not large as it was cheap at 175,000 VND, but it was nice to be able to order without burden.
For my third dish, I ordered Assorted Grilled Mushrooms. It consists of pine mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, and long strand mushrooms, and is stir-fried in butter and oil on an iron plate. The fragrant buttery flavor and the mushrooms' texture are quite nice. It was really good as a beer snack.
For my fourth and final dish, I ordered Fried Rice with Pork Kimchi. It consists of rice, bean sprouts, bell peppers, kimchi, pork belly, kimchi, red pepper paste, and eggs, and the staff prepares it deliciously on an iron plate.
After it's all stir-fried, it's finished with beni shoga(pickled ginger) on top, but the visual is similar to Korean kimchi fried rice. The taste is a little different from original kimchi fried rice, but the crunchy texture and salty taste that stuck to the iron plate were quite delicious.
#2. Teppanyaki Restaurant Miyakoya Menu
Miyakoya, a teppanyaki restaurant, serves a variety of teppan dishes, including beef, pork, and chicken, as well as yakisoba and okonomiyaki. All food orders are made by scanning the QR on the table with your smartphone. If the staff is not busy, you can also order verbally. Overall, the menu is reasonably priced and VAT is included in the prices, making it easy to figure out how much you'll actually have to pay.

Including general VAT of 8% and liquor VAT of 10%, it came out to a reasonable amount of 1,344,480 VND. Miyakoya is a famous restaurant in Le Thanh Ton where you can enjoy a variety of teppanyaki dishes and drinks at a reasonable price. It is difficult to find an empty seat on weekend evenings, so you must make a reservation at least one day in advance.
