American restaurant Brick & Barrel is located in an alley in area which has many barbershops across from Ben Thanh Market in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It is located on the 3rd floor of the building, but the entrance is small and hard to see, so you may get a little lost on your first visit.
When you enter the store on the third floor of the building, outdoor tables and a stage for performances come into view. Every weekend evening, you can watch indie bands perform while drinking beer.
You can enter the bar through the door next to the kitchen, and the atmosphere is quite luxurious. On hot days, it may be better to sit indoors in an air-conditioned room rather than at an outdoor table.
I visited for a solo meal on a Thursday evening and took a seat at an outdoor table. The view of Ho Chi Minh City was blocked by tall buildings, so I could only partially enjoy it, but at least I could see the night view of Ben Thanh Market, so it wasn't bad.
When I asked the staff to recommend a beer to drink, she recommended Huda Draft Beer(500ml). It appears that Huda have recently been focusing on marketing their beer from the Hue region in central Vietnam. The staff who was taking orders was already wearing a green Huda uniform. It is a dark golden lager that does not have a strong taste or aroma, but has a refreshing taste that goes well with pizza, chicken, and fried foods.
The first dish was Fried Jalapenos. Spicy and sour jalapeno pickles are coated in batter and deep-fried in oil, giving it a crunchy texture and a nutty taste. It's a great snack for beer.
For my second meal, I ordered Pepperoni Pizza. This is a typical American pepperoni pizza with a beautiful combination of soft, savory mozzarella cheese and salty pepperoni. When drizzled with spicy Tabasco sauce, it tastes literally heavenly.
American Restaurant Brick & Barrel is a charming restaurant where you can taste a variety of high-quality American-style food at reasonable prices. This is a place that will definitely satisfy beer lovers because all the food goes well with beer.

Brick & Barrel is a restaurant where you can taste a variety of food that goes well with beer, such as pizza, chicken wings, and handmade burgers, at a reasonable price. It is located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City's District 1, so it is easily accessible and the food is of high quality, making it a great place to visit when you're craving a beer.
