#1. District 1, American Pizza Jimmy’s New York Pizza Review
Jimmy's New York Pizza, an American pizza restaurant, operates stores in Ho Chi Minh City, near Ben Thanh Market in District 1, An Phu in District 2, and Phu My Hung in District 7. This is a restaurant where you can taste American pizza and sides at a reasonable price, but it is more popular with foreigners than locals. It is a place that many Westerners especially visit.
To have a meal alone on a Saturday evening, I visited a store located in alley with many barbershops across from Ben Thanh Market in District 1. It had a clean interior that gave off a fast food restaurant feel.
They sell quite a variety of alcohol, including regular bottled/canned beer, Vietnamese craft beer, and cider. There was even wine. The only draft beer was Huda, so I ordered a glass of Huda. It is a typical lager beer and does not have a strong aroma or taste, but it has a nutty, slightly bitter taste and a strong carbonation that goes well with greasy pizza.
For my first dish, I ordered Fried Mozzarella Sticks. Next, I ordered a medium size pizza, but the staff was worried that since it comes with 5 cheese sticks, it would be quite large and difficult to eat all of it. It was definitely much thicker than the cheese sticks you see at fast food franchises.
It was a delicious snack with thick chunks of mozzarella cheese inside the batter. It comes with tomato sauce, but it tastes better dipped in spicy chili sauce or Tabasco sauce.
Following Huda, I ordered a can of Heart of Darkness Dream Alone Pale Ale. It is a pale ale beer with a smooth, clean, fruity flavor and a bitter aftertaste, making it unique. Heart of Darknee is Vietnam's leading craft beer brand, loved by craft beer lovers for its unique taste and aroma.
For my second dish, I ordered was Pepperoni Pizza(Medium). It doesn't seem to be much different from typical pepperoni pizza, but it has a crispy texture as if it was fried in oil, and has a strong spicy and salty taste.
It's a simple pizza that spreads tomato sauce on thin dough, tops it with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, and bakes it, but its unique strong spicy and salty taste and crispy texture made it easy to understand why people like pepperoni pizza. It goes really well with beer.
Jimmy's New York Pizza is a charming restaurant where you can enjoy authentic American-style pizza and sides. It's a great place to visit when you want to taste salty, oily pizza that's crispy as if fried in oil and topped with plenty of cheese.

Jimmy's New York Pizza sells familiar American pizzas such as pepperoni, classic cheese, Hawaiian, and supreme, as well as sides such as buffalo wings and cheese sticks. This is a restaurant where you can taste American pizza and sides at a reasonable price, but it is more popular with foreigners than locals. It is a place that many Westerners especially visit.

Including 8% VAT, it came out to a decent amount of 581,840VND. Jimmy's New York Pizza is an attractive restaurant where you can taste American-style pizza and sides. It is a good place to visit when you want to taste salty and oily pizza that is crispy as if fried in oil and topped with plenty of cheese, unlike Italian pizza.
